A gentle morning drink for digestion, energy and radiant skin from 50

1 large glass (approx. 250–300 ml) of warm water: Helps with rehydration and is gentler on the stomach than cold water.
Juice of half an organic lemon: Provides vitamin C, which is important for collagen production (for firm skin), and improves iron absorption. It also gently stimulates digestion.
1 cm of fresh ginger: Grated or sliced. It has anti-inflammatory properties, stimulates metabolism and circulation, and can help combat morning fatigue.

½ teaspoon of turmeric powder (or 1 cm of freshly grated turmeric): Contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It’s good for overall cellular health and can therefore indirectly benefit the skin.

Black pepper: Indispensable! The piperine contained in pepper increases the bioavailability (absorption) of curcumin from turmeric many times over.

Optional:
1 teaspoon honey: For natural sweetness and a quick energy boost.

1 tablespoon of collagen peptide (neutral): If you want to incorporate it directly into your skincare routine, collagen helps maintain skin elasticity.

🥄Preparation
: Heat water: Bring water to a boil and let it cool slightly until lukewarm (not boiling).
Mix ingredients: Add lemon juice, grated ginger, turmeric powder, and black pepper to a glass.
Mix and enjoy: Stir well until the turmeric is dissolved. Optionally, add honey and/or collagen powder. Drink slowly and mindfully, preferably on an empty stomach.
Why this combination is especially effective for those over 50.

Digestion and Detoxification
: Warm water and lemon: Rehydrates the body after a restful night, stimulates bile production, and thus gently stimulates digestion. This can counteract bloating and feelings of fullness.
Ginger and turmeric: They have an anti-inflammatory effect on the intestines and can thus contribute to a healthy intestinal flora – the foundation for a strong immune system and well-being. Energy and Vitality

Ginger: Its spicy flavor (gingerol) acts as a gentle boost for circulation and metabolism.
Vitamin C (lemon): It is important for the body’s energy production and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Radiant skin (anti-aging effect)
Vitamin C (lemon): It is a cofactor in collagen synthesis. Starting at age 50, the body’s own collagen production declines significantly, so daily intake of vitamin C is especially important for firm skin.

Turmeric (curcumin): Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it protects cells from free radicals that contribute to skin aging.
Collagen peptides (optional): They can help maintain skin elasticity and hydration from within and reduce the depth of wrinkles.

Important: To protect your tooth enamel, don’t brush your teeth immediately after drinking lemon water (due to its acidity). Wait about 30 minutes or rinse your mouth with clean water beforehand.
This golden drink is a simple yet effective ritual to do something good for your health every morning!
